Dachshund Re-grows Hair on Ears and Chest!
We have always had miniature
Dachshunds...including both of us in our childhoods. And,
we have seen more than once the (evidently) common hair loss
on the tips of the ears and the chest area. Our 10 year old
female lost hair on her ears that progressed to tissue
necrosis. So when our 2 year old female began to lose the
hair on her ears and chest, we were determined to try to
stop the process. We tried 4 different vets, including a
skin/allergy specialist, had blood/urine/mites/allergies
tested, all negative. All 4 told us that "this is common in
Dachshunds...especially hair loss on the ears and chest."
One vet even had a name for it: "doxy ears". Another vet
showed us a reference book, noting alopecia in Dachshunds.
Found your product.
After one month, the 2 year old had
significant re-growth of hair on her ears. At about 6 weeks
of use, the re-growth hair on her chest has gone from almost
bald to long enough to slightly curl and the ears are
perfect. We are absolutely convinced of the effectiveness
of NuVet Plus wafers. Sincere thanks and congratulations on
