Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Regains Strength
I would like to tell you about my first experience with NuVet Plus.
A few months ago, my 12 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel suddenly developed a severe balance problem. He was put on steroids to try to reduce the problem, but after I week on the maximum dose, he was considerably worse than when we started. At this point he was unable to walk (or stagger) 2 to 3 steps before falling down and he needed support to do his business. He couldn't drink water because he was too uncoordinated. In order to get fluids into him I had to switch him to canned dog food. For several days that was his only source of water. There were even times that he would develop tremors while eating. All in all he was a VERY sick dog!
It was during this time that I had been told about NuVet Plus. After receiving the brochure and samples, I decided that it couldn't hurt to try it. The results were incredible! Within 2 days of starting on it, he started to improve. It was very slight at first, but we could see improvement in his balance each day. In the beginning there were brief moments in which he could walk a straight line. Day by day these periods became longer and longer. The progress was slow, but definitely there.
He is now almost totally recovered. He is able to get up on the couch. He can go up and down the stairs like a youngster. He is back to being a playful happy dog.
